Fifty years after Dr. King’s “Beyond Vietnam” speech, we find ourselves still confronting the challenges of materialism, racism, and militarism. You’re invited to study Dr. King’s “Beyond Vietnam” speech, delivered at The Riverside Church fifty years ago, along with our three expert facilitators: Regina Tate, Alan Bentz Letts, and Steve Knight. This class will offer you the opportunity to read King’s famous speech in detail and reflect on the truths his prophetic words have for us today. This class is open to all. Participants must purchase a study guide for $5. Each session of the class will be offered twice a week so that you may choose whichever session fits your schedule.
