Flint Water Fund Campaign

Riverside is joining American Baptist Churches in Metropolitan New York (ABCMNY) in their year-long commitment to support youth and adults who are most impacted by the ongoing water crisis in Flint, Michigan. In 2014, the lead levels in Flint’s water supply measured ten times higher than the safe level determined by the EPA. As late as Jan 2017, residents were cautioned to filter faucets and drink bottled water. Many children and seniors show signs of irreparable lead poisoning. The long-term impact of this is unfathomable.

Water means life for all of us. Riverside believes that all people are deserving of clear, safe water. Many residents cannot afford to buy the amount of water needed for daily life. Your contribution to “Flint Water” will support life and health for sons and daughters, parents and grandparents in Flint who need our help. Help us meet and exceed our goal of $10,000 during the month of March!
